My name is Sarah Dunker and I am currently a junior from Omaha, Nebraska studying Strategic Communications and Psychology at the University of Kansas. When I first arrived in Barcelona, I thought it was extremely beautiful and busy. I am interested in Journalism because I believe it is one of the most important parts of our society today, as it spreads news and ideas throughout the world. Everyday, I use social media such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to keep up with friends, family and current trends. I also try to keep up with national and international news. I tend to get my information from news apps on my phone, such as The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. I usually look for entertainment news on social media, especially Twitter.
